AI Visibility · Consulting

Get your AI visibility right, with an expert, not by trial and error

GEO/AIEO is a young and noisy field: plenty of "guarantees" and conflicting advice. In a consultation we work through your specific situation soberly: what actually moves you into answers from ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity, what you can do yourself, and what to hand to specialists.

You walk away with a written list of priorities, what to do yourself and what to delegate, plus a short summary of the session.

Working since 2015 · Google Partners · CyberLab.Team OÜ (EU, GDPR, DPA on request) · we'll tell you honestly if you don't need it

What is AIEO / GEO, and why should your business care?

It's optimization for AI answers, so that AI mentions and recommends you when a customer asks "who should I pick" or "what should I buy". Different teams call it different things: AIEO (optimization for AI search engines), GEO (for generative answers), AEO (for answer engines like Perplexity), LLMO (for language models). It's all one field, really, and we won't bury you in acronyms, we'll explain it on your own examples.

This is no longer a niche concern. By October 2025, OpenAI reported around 800 million people using ChatGPT every week, and a growing share of them ask the AI for a recommendation instead of running a regular search. We optimize for the global models, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, the engines your customers actually turn to for advice. We're EU-registered (CyberLab.Team OÜ) and work within European rules, so it's a comfortable fit for businesses serving an EU audience.

When is a consultation the right fit?

You have an SEO contractor but no AI-visibility expertise
You have a marketer or agency, but no one knows how to land in AI answers.
You don't want to pay for done-for-you, you want to understand and decide yourself
You need the topic and the priorities, and you'll handle the execution.
You're already doing something and want a sober second look
Are you digging in the right spot? An outside view before you spend the budget.
A contractor promises a "guaranteed spot in ChatGPT"
You need an independent check: is it a con, and are there spam methods involved.
You need to train your team on the basics
Metrics, what to change on the site and in the content, so the team can run with it.

Consultation formats

Session lengths are a guide; we tune them to the task.

One-off strategy session (~60–90 minutes)
We work through your situation, answer your questions and give clear direction and priorities.
Advisory support
A series of sessions plus reviews of your work and answers along the way: you do it, we steer and catch the mistakes.
Team training (paid workshop)
An online session for the marketer or team that will run the work themselves: which metrics to watch, what to change on the site and in the content, how to run queries through ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity on your own, and what to delegate and what not to. You leave with a recording of the walkthrough, a checklist and a query template. Not a fit if there's no one to implement.
Second opinion / contractor review
We assess what someone is proposing or already doing for you: whether it makes sense, and whether there are spam methods or empty "guarantees". You don't need a prior audit and you don't need to order anything else from us, just describe what's being offered and give us access to the contractor's materials.
Express diagnostics (optional)
A quick visibility check as a basis for the conversation. If you need a full standalone report, that's our Visibility Audit.

What do you walk away with?

  • A clear picture: where you stand now and what really affects landing in AI answers.
  • Priorities: where to start for the most impact.
  • Concrete next steps tailored to your situation.
  • An honest checklist of what you can do yourself for free versus what needs expertise.
  • A short session summary with recommendations you can come back to.

How we look at your AI visibility in a consultation

Not abstract dashboard scores, but a clear picture you can see with your own eyes.

Your real queries
We use the way a customer actually asks for advice, not invented keywords.
Several engines
We check ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews live, wherever your audience is.
Dated screenshots
We show the answers with screenshots and dates so you can verify them yourself.
Why engines differ
We explain why the same query gets a different answer in different models, and what to do about it.
What we usually cover in a session
  1. 1 Look live at what AI says in response to your queries.
  2. 2 Work out who it recommends instead of you, and why.
  3. 3 Pin down what keeps you out of the answers: content, markup, bot access, brand authority.
  4. 4 Set priorities against your budget and resources.
  5. 5 Capture the steps in a short summary you can come back to.

Which metrics do we rely on?

A shared vocabulary for the conversation. If you need a full measurement with a report, that's our Visibility Audit.

Visibility
How often AI mentions you at all for queries in your niche.
Share of Voice
How much of the recommendation goes to you versus competitors.
Sentiment
How you get described: neutrally, with caveats, or negatively.
Accuracy
Whether AI states your services, prices and facts correctly, with nothing made up.
Answer Depth
Whether you just get a passing mention or make the "best of" list with a description.

A tool or a person

People often ask whether it's simpler to just buy a subscription to a tool like Otterly or Profound. It depends on what you're missing.

A tool subscription

Shows you visibility scores, mentions, share of voice. From there, someone has to do something with that data: work out what matters in your niche, in your language, for your buyer, and turn it into a plan. It fits if you have a person who knows their way around this and will act on it.

A consultation with a person

We read the picture for you, explain what the numbers mean, and tell you where to start for your market and language. It fits when what you need isn't dashboard access but sober direction and priorities. If all you want is a one-off snapshot of the facts, that's our Visibility Audit, and a tool isn't required for it.

Why strong SEO doesn't guarantee AI visibility

Good Google rankings don't carry over to AI on their own. The engines don't rank pages, they pull in and recommend sources, and each one does it differently: Google AI Overviews favours structure and expertise signals, Perplexity cites specific URLs, ChatGPT leans on brand recognition and how consistent the data about you is across sources.

How little they overlap shows in the numbers: a Profound analysis of 680 million citations found only about 11% of domains appear in both ChatGPT and Perplexity. So a site can sit at the top of Google and still be missing from an AI's answer, with a weaker competitor named instead because its content is better structured and easier to cite. In a consultation we look at where your SEO already works for AI and where the gap is.

Where search is heading by 2027–2028, and why you need to build the strategy now

The numbers have stopped being forecasts, they describe what's happening right now. Google AI Overviews reached 2 billion monthly users by July 2025 (per Alphabet's Q2 2025 earnings report). Pew Research Center found (July 2025, across 68,879 real search queries) that when Google shows an AI summary, US users click through to a regular link 8% of the time, half as often as when there's no summary (15%). On 26% of visits with an AI summary, people close the browser without going anywhere at all, against 16% without one.

McKinsey estimates (October 2025) that about 50% of Google queries already carry an AI summary, and by 2028 that figure will pass 75%. Between 20% and 50% of organic traffic is at risk, even for strong brands. Gartner predicts (February 2024) that search volume in traditional engines will drop 25% by 2026 as users move to AI assistants, and that's the conservative read, the first signs of it are already visible.

At the same time, landing in an AI's answer responds to optimization. The peer-reviewed study "GEO: Generative Engine Optimization" (Aggarwal et al., published at the KDD 2024 conference with support from Princeton and other universities) showed that adding statistics, authoritative quotes and explicit source citations can lift visibility in generative answers by up to 40%.

GEO/AIEO is a discipline whose rules are still being written as it goes. A strategy and a set of priorities built today will cost more a year from now, if only because your competitors don't know where to start yet either. If you want to make sense of your own situation and walk away with clear priorities, that's exactly what we work through in a consultation.

Honestly: what you can do yourself, for free

If you can close part of the work yourself, we'll say so plainly. A consultation is for where it's easy to waste time without expertise.

You can do it yourself (free)

  • Fill in and verify your Google Business profile.
  • List yourself in relevant directories and platforms.
  • Collect honest customer reviews.
  • Basic FAQ markup on your site.
  • Add FAQPage markup to key pages, almost any CMS plugin does it, no developer needed.
  • Create or refresh simple answer pages for your customers' common questions (pricing and terms, option comparisons, FAQ, about the company), the kind of pages AI is most willing to cite.

Where expertise is needed

  • Measuring visibility and setting priorities, what actually moves you into the answers.
  • Structuring content so models will cite it.
  • Correct Schema/JSON-LD and access for AI bots.
  • A mentions strategy, targeted and without spam.

What is not included in a consultation?

  • A consultation is direction and priorities, not execution. We don't write your content, make edits to your site or set up markup during the session.
  • Implementation is handled by your team or by our full promotion service, the consultation shows you what to do and in what order.
  • We don't sell access to a niche and we don't promise a "monopoly" in AI answers.
  • We don't guarantee a spot in ChatGPT: no one controls that directly, and anyone who promises it is usually running spam that gets sites penalized.

Need full done-for-you implementation? Take a look at AI promotion.

What sets us apart

  • Honest about what you need. If you can do part of the work yourself for free (Google profile, directories, reviews, FAQ markup), we'll say so plainly instead of selling you extras. The consultation is worth it on its own.
  • No "guaranteed placement". No one controls an AI's answers directly, and anyone promising a guarantee is usually running spam that gets sites penalized. We give you a sober picture and priorities that work.
  • Plain language, no jargon and no scare tactics.
  • Experience that carries over. Working since 2015, Google Partners, SEO and ads audits. On top of that, Google Discover/News: the same foundation of structured, citable, expert content that AI rewards.
  • Data under EU rules. CyberLab.Team OÜ is registered in Estonia, we work under GDPR, and we sign a data processing agreement (DPA) on request. What you share in a session, access, analytics, your competitor list, never leaves for another jurisdiction.
  • Four languages and markets: EN, UK, RU, PL.

What this looks like in practice

For example, a client in one B2B niche found that, for the "who should I pick" query, ChatGPT was naming an outdated competitor page with terms that no longer applied. In the session we traced where the model was pulling that data from and pointed out which answer pages to update on the client's side, so the facts about them would be consistent across sources. The case is anonymous, with no numbers: we only publish verified reviews and data, with no made-up quotes.

Frequently asked questions

How is consulting different from a visibility audit? +
The audit is diagnostics with a report: we run the checks ourselves and hand you a document with findings and a plan. Consulting is a live analysis and direction: you ask questions about your situation, and we help you make decisions and set priorities. The two can be combined, and express diagnostics often serves as a basis for the conversation.
How is consulting different from promotion? +
Promotion is done-for-you work: we handle the content, technical side, mentions and monitoring. Consulting is the opposite: you or your team do the work, while we steer, answer questions and catch the mistakes. It costs less than done-for-you.
Aren't you just going to sell me a monthly contract? +
No. The opposite, in fact: if something can be done on your own for free, we'll tell you honestly. The point of the consultation is for you to leave with clarity and a plan, not a service you didn't need. Delegating promotion is your decision, not a requirement.
How much does a consultation cost? +
Price is on request: it depends on the format (session, ongoing support, training) and scope. Send a request, we'll clarify the task and quote you. A one-off session can be booked with no commitment.
Do I need to prepare for the consultation? +
Nothing special. But if you have access to your site, analytics or examples of customer queries, it makes the analysis more concrete. We'll tell you on the brief what would help.
Can I book a one-off consultation, with no commitment? +
Yes, a one-off strategy session is a normal and common format. Afterwards you're free to act on your own or come back for ongoing support.
How does the consultation work technically? +
It's an online call on whatever messenger or service suits you (Google Meet, Zoom, Telegram), with nothing to install. We work through your situation with screen sharing: we run your real queries through ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity live, show you the answers and take your questions. Afterwards we send a short summary with priorities and steps that you can come back to.
What exactly do I get after the session? +
A clear picture of where you stand now, and a written list of priorities: where to start for the most impact and what order to move in next. With it comes an honest checklist of what you can do yourself for free versus what needs expertise, so it's clear what to delegate and what to handle in-house. It's all pulled together into a short session summary you can come back to at any time.
I don't have my own team or marketer. Is consulting right for me? +
It is, if you're ready to implement the recommendations yourself, or at least understand what you're getting into. If you have no hands and no time at all, we'll say so honestly, and then full promotion makes more sense.
Can you review my current contractor? +
Yes, that's a separate format, the "second opinion". We look at what someone is proposing or already doing for you, whether it makes sense, and whether there are spam methods or empty "guarantees".
What language is the consultation in? +
English by default. The team works in four languages (EN, UK, RU, PL), so we can run it in whichever suits you.
Do you guarantee I will appear in ChatGPT answers after the consultation? +
Honestly: appearing in an AI's answers cannot be guaranteed, by anyone. What the consultation does guarantee: a clear picture, priorities that work and concrete steps. After that, the result depends on execution, yours or with our help.
How is AI-visibility consulting different from a regular SEO consultant? +
An SEO consultant helps you climb to the top of Google's results, where the user still chooses which link to click. AI visibility works differently: ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity don't show a list of links, they name a couple of options right inside the answer. The goal here isn't to rank higher, it's to become the source the model pulls in and mentions. That takes a different set of signals: content structured to be cited, correct markup, access for AI bots, brand recognition across different sources. Strong Google rankings don't replace that and don't guarantee it.
I already rank well on Google. Why deal with AI separately? +
Strong SEO helps, but it doesn't carry over automatically: different models barely overlap in who they name, so a Google position is no guarantee of a mention in ChatGPT or Perplexity. Each engine picks sources by its own rules: somewhere structure and expertise matter most, somewhere the citability of specific pages, somewhere how consistent the facts about you are across the web. In a consultation we look at exactly where your good SEO already works for AI, where there's a gap, and what to close first.
Which AI models do you check in a consultation, and how exactly? +
We check the ones that actually affect your customers, live: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. We take your real queries, the way a customer asks for advice, and check whether you get mentioned, who gets recommended instead, and in what tone. We show the answers with screenshots and dates so you can verify them yourself. It's not a closed score from a dashboard, it's a clear picture you can see for yourself.
What if a model updates, does our plan reset to zero? +
Part of the picture does shift with major model updates, and we're upfront about that. But the fundamentals hold: clear, structured content that directly answers your customers' questions, correct markup, access for AI bots and brand recognition across sources all work on any model version. We give you priorities that aren't tied to a single ChatGPT or Gemini release but strengthen your foundation overall.
You work with EU-based businesses, are you covered as an EU vendor? +
Yes. We optimize for the global models, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, the engines your customers actually ask for advice. We're EU-registered (CyberLab.Team OÜ), have worked since 2015 and speak four languages, so the analysis happens within European rules and in whatever language suits you.
What don't you do as part of a consultation? +
A consultation is direction and priorities, not execution. We don't write your content, make edits to your site or set up markup during the session, that's the job of your team or of our full promotion service. We also won't sell access to a niche, promise a "monopoly" in AI answers or guarantee a spot in ChatGPT: no one controls that directly, and anyone who promises it is usually running spam that gets sites penalized.
Which metrics will you lean on in the conversation? +
A few clear ones. Visibility, how often AI mentions you at all for niche queries. Share of Voice, how much of the recommendation goes to you versus competitors. Sentiment, how you're described: neutrally, with caveats, or negatively. Accuracy, whether AI states your services, prices and facts correctly, with nothing made up. Answer Depth, whether you just get a passing mention or make the "best of" list with a description. In a consultation we estimate these from your queries; if you need a full measurement with a report, that's our Visibility Audit.
Where is the data I share in a consultation processed, and can you sign a DPA? +
We're registered in Estonia as CyberLab.Team OÜ, so everything you share in a session, access, analytics, sample queries and your competitor list, is processed under EU rules and GDPR, not under Russian or US ones. We sign a data processing agreement (DPA) on request. For a business serving an EU audience this usually matters, and almost no AI-visibility agency brings it up.
Should I just buy a subscription to a tool like Otterly or Profound instead of a consultation? +
It depends on what you're missing. A tool gives you raw data: visibility scores, mentions, share of voice. But interpreting it and turning it into a plan is on you, working out what matters in your niche, in your language, for your buyer. A consultation is about that part: we read the picture for you and tell you where to start. If all you need is a one-off snapshot of the facts, our audit covers that, and a subscription isn't required for it.
Which pages do AI models cite most, and do I need to build something special? +
Models prefer to pull in clear answer pages: pricing and terms, option comparisons, your customers' common questions, descriptions of the company and its services. There's no special AI format here, just ordinary informative pages that answer the buyer's question directly. You can create or refresh some of them yourself, for free. In a consultation we point out which pages you're missing for your niche's queries and what order to close them in.
Do I need to order an audit first before you can review my current contractor? +
No. The contractor review is a separate format and doesn't require a prior audit or any other service. Just describe what's being proposed or already done, and give us access to their materials and reports. We'll look at whether there's real substance to the work, whether there are spam methods or empty promises like a guaranteed spot in ChatGPT, and tell you plainly whether it's worth continuing with that contractor.
What exactly will my marketer learn from the training, and do they need a technical background? +
After the session your marketer understands which visibility metrics to watch, what to change on the site and in the content, how to run real customer queries through ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity and read the answers, and what makes more sense to delegate. No deep technical background is needed: the walkthrough is in plain language, on your own examples. They keep a recording, a checklist and a query template so the team can carry the work on without us.
